This little boy is just the light of my life...he has so much personality! I love him to the moon and back.
Jessica decided she would cook spaghetti instead of going to Daddy Joes and she invited me to eat so I could bring Mack back home with me. When I get there Rory tells Mack to come and tell me his secret, but he says he cannot remember. I was paying attention to Mack and didn't notice that Jessica had started videoing so I started getting a little suspicious, but she finally whispered in his ear and he told me that his momma was going to have a baby!!! He said he was going to have a sister even though they do not know yet, he is determined that it is a sister😍👶 and was going to call her "little stinker".
SOOO that is exciting and wonderful news!!!! A new baby on the way.
He was so excited saying he was going to my house. He was ready to go right then even before we could eat.
As soon as we get to my house he asks me if Pa is there and if the dogs are there and I told him no, but we would talk to pa in just a little bit and I told him I needed to take a shower and he needed to put his pajamas on. His moma said he needed to wash his feet so I told him to strip his clothes off so I could let him wash his feet. I sat him in the tub to just wash his feet, but the next thing I know he is soaping his whole body and taking a bath...the child loves to take a bath.
I made him his usual chocolate milk and said "I'm hungry nana" so I gave him his chocolate pudding to eat with the chocolate milk. We talked to pa and he had to sit in my lap to see him and talk to him, but that didn't hold his attention long and he was ready to go back to watching hulk on tv.
When I finished talking to Bennett I told him he needed to go to bed so he went to the bedroom to pick out a book for me to read to him. He chose the book about Jesus's birth at Christmas and I started reading it to him and he had his Bible story for kids book and he said he was going to read his book too. So I was reading and he would look at the pictures in his book and was saying "Jesus said this" and he would turn the page and do it again...just so sweet.
When he went to bed he had to have all of the teddy bears in the bed and we said his nighttime prayer - "now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep" and I asked him who he wanted to pray for and the first person he said was Millie - he said she was his best friend. Then he prayed for his momma, and daddy then he said he wanted to pray for me and my house. We sang "Jesus Loves Me" and then I hugged him and told him he needed to go to sleep. He wanted me to leave the door open and the light on. He laid there for a little while, but it didn't take long and he was sound asleep.
The next morning I fixed him hot chocolate but got it too hot so we sat it in the refrigerator and we set the time for 5 minutes so when the timer would go off he would get the chocolate and check it to see if it was cool enough to drink. He loves to sit in my recliner by himself now so he was sitting there drinking his hot chocolate and he looked over at me and said, "I love you". Hearing him say that without being prompted was the sweetest thing in the world.
