Mack spends the night with Nana and Pa

He is growing so much...he is now so independent that he wants to sit in my recliner all by himself. When I tried to sit with him he pulls me and tells me to move - it is cute, but sad. I loved sitting with him in my lap or beside me watching his Disney movies. Bennett turned the Disney channel on and asked him what movie he wanted to watch. He goes up to the tv and points to the one he wants and he is very specific. If you don't play the one he wants he tells you right off that it's not right. He was in the mood to watch Nemo this time. He got up in my chair and yelled 'Nemo' and then would bounce in the chair - it was just the cutest thing! We watched Nemo and the Incredibles and Toy Story 3, not 1, 2, or 4 - only #3 LOL.

I went to pick up mama to bring her to the house for supper because Bennett had told her he would cook her a steak. He wasn't too enthused about eating and he ends up in the floor under the table laying with Hank while Bennett cooked the steaks. He calls Hank and Shayna doggie, but he finally started saying their names. He would try to ride Hank, but Shayna just wanted to hide from him so she would go stay in her bed in the bedroom.

I brought his box of toys into the living room and the first thing he did was turn the box upside down and pour all the toys on the floor. His main goal though was to put the train on the coffee table. He just loves that train.

I told him at 9 that it was time to go to bed and he hugged and kissed Bennett and told him goodnight and went to get ready for bed without a fuss. We laid down in bed and we said his prayers and I sang to him. He wanted  me to sing round and round. He would look at me and smile so sweetly. I asked him if he wanted me to tell him a story about Jesus and he shook his head so I told him about Jesus being born and then about him feeding the crowd with the little boys fish and loaves of bread. The whole time I was telling him the story he was look5at me and shaking his little head - it was just adorable.  He finally closed his eyes and laid there fidgeting until he fell asleep. I tried to get up but as soon as I moved he sat straight up so I laid back down for a few minutes until he finally fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning to Hank's barking and got up to check on Mack thinking he may still be in bed, but the little stinker had got up and turned the lamp on and was standing at the coffee table trying to dip the peanuts he had poured out back into the can.

He wanted to watch Toy Story 3 again so that occupied him while I showered. Bennett helped him put his clothes on all while playing with him and making him laugh. He ate all of his fried wieners and eggs before we left for church. As soon as we get to church he has to put his sunglasses on and he wanted to hold both of our hands as we walked in. Everybody was talking about how cool he looked.

He definitely keeps me busy when he comes, but he is so fun and entertaining.
