I went to Jessica's again for lunch today. It
doesn't matter what we eat, the main thing is getting to see sweet Mack! He is
so stinking sweet!! As soon as he sees me, he starts grinning and crawling to
me. Them little hands start reaching for me to pick him up. It's
just the sweetest feeling picking him up and squeezing him tight and kissing
those rosy cheeks. After a few minute,s he's had enough and wants down, but as
soon as I set him down here he comes and starts pulling himself up for me to
hold him again. I pick him up and tickle his belly and nibble at his neck
and tummy and he just giggles...loving it. As soon as I get up to go and walk
toward the door telling him goodbye, here he comes again...them little hands
reaching again to be picked up. I happily oblige him and smother him with
goodbye kisses.
He may never remember these days, but I hope I
never forget how sweet he was and how happy it made me to see him light up when
he saw me walk into the room.
